Rimmofatt! stores a small amount of data on your device, on the website and in the Android app. The advertising data is used by Google, and only under the conditions you choose.
How we ask for your consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the request comes through Google’s consent message: on the website the Google AdSense one, in the Android app the Google AdMob one, which appears when the app opens. It is a certified platform that follows the European IAB TCF standard. From there you choose both for advertising and for our usage statistics, and with “Manage options” you can see the advertising partners and choose them one by one.
If that message doesn’t appear, for example because your browser blocks its script, we ask you for your choice ourselves with the “A quick word about cookies” banner. In the app, that banner only covers statistics.
Technical — always on
They are needed for the website and the app to work, they stay on your device and they don’t require consent.

Google’s message remembers your choice: on the website in a Google cookie, in the app in the app’s settings on your phone. You’ll find the details under “Manage options,” inside the message itself.
Statistics — only if you consent
If you accept, we record product events (for example: “a dream was interpreted”) to understand what works and what doesn’t. In Google’s message this choice is called “Measure content performance” and it is a purpose of Rimmofatt!, not of the advertising partners. We never record the content of your dreams. If you decline, we don’t send any events: the website and the app work exactly the same way. If you accept statistics, we also use Google Analytics, on the website and in the app, to understand which pages work and where the people who find us come from. Google’s script is not loaded until you consent: if you decline, or haven’t chosen yet, no Analytics cookie is written on your device. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops.

Google Analytics does not receive the content of your dreams, nor your email address. IP addresses are processed by Google in anonymized form. Google’s rules are in [How Google uses information](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Advertising — only if you consent
The free 'O Munaciello plan includes ads: on the website they are provided by Google AdSense, in the Android app by Google AdMob, with a banner at the bottom and a video you can choose to watch to receive a DreamPoint. Paid plans show no advertising.
- If you accept, Google and the advertising partners listed in the message may use cookies and, in the app, your phone’s advertising ID to show you ads in line with your interests.
- If you decline, or haven’t chosen yet, ads are not personalized: no advertising profiling.
- The content of your dreams is never shared with Google, nor used to choose the ads.
In the app, Google’s SDK directly collects the IP address, the phone’s advertising ID and technical data on how the app and the ads are used, in order to show them, measure them and prevent fraud. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings.
Google acts as an independent controller for the data collected through its cookies and its SDK: you’ll find its rules in [How Google uses information](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) and you can manage your preferences in [Google Ad Settings](https://adssettings.google.com).
We keep a record of your choice
Your choice lives on your device, because it has to be read before anything else is loaded. When you make it or change it, however, we also keep a copy on our side: what you chose, when, and through which consent request — Google’s message or our banner — together with an encrypted fingerprint of your address if you don’t have an account. It serves only to be able to prove that consent was given, as the law requires of us: we keep it for two years and it disappears if you delete your account.
Where this data goes
Google is a U.S. company: the data collected by its cookies, its SDK and its consent message may be processed outside the European Union, in the United States. Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also applies the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Our own product statistics, the ones that don’t go through Google, stay on our servers in Europe.
How to change your mind
Whenever you like, from your Profile, in the “Privacy and consent” section: next to “Analytics cookies” tap “Review”. The request you used to make your choice opens again, Google’s message or our banner.
Third parties
We use Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in the Android app for advertising, and Google Analytics for statistics, only under the conditions described above. In the app, if you turn on notifications, they are delivered by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google’s advertising partners are listed in the consent message, where you can choose them one by one. We don’t use social plugins or any other tracking tools.
