A story

An afternoon of surprises

I sent my son to buy bread. He came back with the bread, a pack of collectible stickers and a cat. The cat was in a cardboard box outside the bakery, with a handwritten sign. Now it sleeps on the washing machine and its name is Biscotto. The bread, though, was the right one: the kind with the dark crust my wife likes, and he’d even remembered to have it sliced.
